Character Name: Hermes
Canon: Stray Gods
Canon Point: End of Stray Gods, before Orpheus DLC
Age: 20 (approximate)
Birthday: June 1st - because that makes them a Gemini, the star sign associated with Hermes (I am so funny)

History: Wiki link!

Personality:
Hermes... tries. They try their best no matter what they're doing. They are eternally hopeful, and cheerful. Honestly, Hermes tends to see the best in everyone and everything. Even if they don't, they'll try to make things feel a little less awful. Whether or not they actually succeed is another story. But they try. They're a people-pleaser - which ends up making them pretty obedient to Athena's whims, even if they get a little suspect as the events of the game goes on, they still do what she tells them to. On the other hand, it also means Hermes' cheerful nature and optimism can pull others on adventures. Like Orpheus, even if they haven't actually experienced that yet. They're determined to show him all the good parts of the new mortal world, and help him find his way in it.

They're also pretty empathetic, offering their innate kindness as much as they can, and still missing their friend and previous holder of the Hermes Eidolon. They have a big heart, they really do, offering sympathy to Grace in her time of "what is happening what the @$#%", and always being pleasant and nice to the most functional pile of depression, Apollo, whenever they meet. Hermes really wants to see the best in people. It's entirely possible that's due to the help they received from the previous Hermes, but we don't know. It might just be part of who they are and always have been.

They are not, however, the sharpest crayon in the box. It doesn't really affect their day to day, but sometimes it takes them a minute to come to a decent conclusion. Even about their duties as Hermes (they called themselves a Psycho Pope versus actually being "psychopomp"). Despite that, they're probably the Idol best adapted to the modern world, having only accepted their role about a year or so ago.

Having boundless energy probably goes along with the title of messenger of the gods. And boy they have it in spades. They're always go go go and ready to move. It's exhausting.

In short, Hermes is basically a golden retriever with a job.

Time of Arrival to Kaisou: Recently! As in a couple days, or day, prior to if/when the app is accepted! Any earlier and they would have tried to make themselves known as soon as possible.

Items: The clothes on their back, their backpack, cell phone (probably not working here), random bits and pieces a person would reasonably have in their pockets (change, ID card, crumbs, keys). Hermes you don't need keys, but they carry them anyway out of habit.

Retained Abilities:
- Teleportation (3) to places they've been before. Mimics their Doorway ability. They have to use an actual door, and said door has to be OPENED on their end.
- Immortality (3 - high), as they're an Idol and technically can only die if they're ready to pass on their Eidolon, or they get killed.

I am happy to edit or alter either of these as needed!
